  • Dreamscapes
With my photos or scans as starting points, I draw into my environment’s resources to built visual poetry. My vocabulary consists of an abundance of collected patterns of growth, reflections, contrasting lines, abstract or lyric shapes and colors. My process leads me through unlikely associations between different images that I rearrange in layers of complex variations, rhythms and echoes until a new significant structure emerges. The search for a new order in a chaos of fractured images takes me to a new stable, if intriguing, visual environment. In these dreamscapes, I find a poetic, healing, personal vision, reflecting the mysteries of life.

    Remnants
As digital technology gives birth to new paradigms in visual art, the past is still a source of inspiration, with ancient myths and beliefs being refracted through the glasses of our own vision. In Remnants, shreds of the past floating in my memories are revisited, transformed and reinterpreted. While I fully embrace the computer as the main tool in my personal creativity, I still feel a need to combine it with a hands-on process; thus the transfers of my digital compositions to fine art printmaking paper or other substrates, with finishing touches using traditional arts media. In the end, virtual and real brushes mingle seamlessly.

    Abstracts
The computer geek in me is taking my inner artist on jubilant rides to create abstracts, either taking my photos as a departure point or bringing into existence something out of nothing. This part of my recent work captures moments of an intuitive flow of unbound imagination.
